Full Job Description
Lead data strategists at Thoughtworks develop modern data strategy and architecture approaches to meet key business objectives and provide end-to-end data solutions. They focus on strategic programs with clients to conduct in-depth technical or organizational reviews, helping stakeholders understand the potential that data and AI bring to solving their most pressing problems. On projects, they lead the design of targeted data strategies, data governance implementations, and high-level roadmaps. Alongside strategic advisory work, they lead delivery teams to ensure the successful implementation of the data vision, acting as a crucial translator between business needs and technical execution.

Job responsibilities

  • You will lead and manage strategic data projects from inception to completion, including goal-setting, scope definition, and ensuring value delivery through cross-team collaboration.
  • You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business ecosystem and leverage this understanding to design data and technology strategies aligned with their objectives.
  • You will conduct in-depth reviews of current data, AI and technology landscapes, providing actionable, high-level roadmaps to help clients unlock the full potential of their data.
  • You will act as a translator between business, data, and IT, effectively communicating data strategy and actionable insights to senior client stakeholders.
  • You will lead the creation of end-to-end viable data solutions and oversee program inceptions for new data product development.
