Location: Mph- Client Site, New York, USJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ab Initio Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Ab Initio ETL development, Teradata, Continuous Flows, MQ integration, and scripting in Shell and Python. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting high-performance data integration solutions, including real-time and near real-time data processing architectures in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex Ab Initio ETL solutions.
- Build and maintain Ab Initio Continuous Flow applications for real-time data processing.
- Develop and support integrations using IBM MQ messaging and event-driven architectures.
- Create and maintain Shell and Python scripts for automation, monitoring, deployment, and operational support.
- Design and optimize data solutions using Teradata.
Mandatory Skills:- Proficiency in Ab Initio development.
- Strong skills in Shell scripting and/or Python development.
- Experience working with Teradata databases.
- Expertise in Ab Initio Continuous Flows and IBM MQ.
- Solid understanding of ETL design, development, testing, and performance tuning.
Preferred Skills:- Experience with data integration in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of real-time and near real-time data processing architectures.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing data integration solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
