Job Location - Whippany NJ (Day One Onsite - Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Architecture
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Architect and implement modern data platforms, data lakes, and cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Build robust batch and real-time data processing solutions.
  • Define and implement data modeling standards, including dimensional and semantic models.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of data infrastructure.


Technical Leadership
  • Lead a team of data engineers by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring.
  • Establish engineering standards, best practices, and development frameworks.
  • Drive technical design discussions and architecture reviews.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and solution teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.


Data Quality & Governance
  • Implement data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, security, and compliance standards.
  • Develop metadata management, lineage, and cataloging solutions.
  • Partner with governance and compliance teams to implement data stewardship practices.


Cloud & Platform Engineering
  • Design and manage cloud-native data solutions using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Optimize performance and cost efficiency of data platforms.
  • Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and improve platform reliability.


Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with business leaders, analytics teams, and product owners to prioritize data initiatives.
  • Support data scientists and analysts with curated, trusted datasets.
  • Present architecture recommendations and project updates to senior leadership.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on enterprise data strategy

Salary Transparency

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $110841 to $145000 /yearly.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$110841 to $145000

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
