The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Lead Contract Specialist (GS-1102-12) to work at Homestead ARB, Florida.

Salary: $95,326 - $123,927
Travel: Up to 25% travel
Work Type: No remote or telework
Position: Permanent position
Relocation: Relocation incentive may be available
Experience: 3-5 years' desired experience

Qualifications:
US citizenship is required.
Must serve as a warranted contracting officer at the level deemed necessary by the supervisor. Successful completion of a warrant test and warrant board will be required.
Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information.
The employee must meet the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements.
The employee must meet the continuing acquisition education requirements.
In accordance with the Ethics in Government Act, 1978, employee is required to file an OGE Form 450 annually.
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
Professional knowledge of a wide variety of Federal contracting laws, regulations, policies, processes, procedures, and contract types.
Knowledge of business practices and market conditions applicable to program and technical acquisition requirements.
Knowledge of contracting negotiation, administration, termination principles, and price/cost analysis.
Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
