Lead Business Systems Analyst

What is the opportunity?

As Lead, Business Systems Analysis in Personal Credit Technology within T&O, you will lead the Business Systems Analysis function for the Adjudication and Fulfillment platform modernization initiative. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that technology solutions align with strategic goals. This role combines hands-on BSA expertise with leadership and mentorship responsibilities, while spearheading the adoption of AI-driven tools and methodologies in BSA processes.

What will you do?
  • Engage with business stakeholders to clarify current-state Linx system capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with business teams to ensure requirement readiness before solution design phases
  • Align on high-level solution design with architects and technology leads at the start of each quarter
  • Facilitate technical and business discussions, documenting outcomes and decisions
  • Coach and mentor BSAs on best practices in requirements documentation, intent documents, and scope alignment
  • Develop team capabilities in technical/business communication and documentation standards
  • Guide team adoption of AI tools and methodologies to enhance BSA productivity and quality
  • Provide direct assistance to BSAs with requirement documentation and intent documents during peak periods or team absences
  • Ensure continuity and quality of BSA work streams

  • Knowledge of RBC's mortgage acquisition processes
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Adjudication and Fulfillment processes in mortgage or lending environments
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members
  • Communication: Expertise in facilitating technical/business discussions and documenting outcomes clearly and concisely

Nice-to-have
  • Proven experience with Linx system and configurations
  • Experience leading BSA teams or mentoring in business systems analysis roles
  • Familiarity with platform modernization or systems transformation initiatives
  • Experience with AI tools, generative AI, or process automation in business analysis or related functions
  • Track record of driving innovation and process improvements in technical environments
