Position Description:

This role can be filled from the client site 5 days a week in one of the following locations: Dallas TX, or Pittsburgh PA.

CGI is seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst to lead the discovery, analysis, and cross functional coordination of complex, data intensive initiatives.

This individual will build an end-to-end understanding of how critical business data is created, updated, synchronized, and consumed across transactional systems, operational data stores, analytical platforms, customer facing applications, and reports.

The role will bring structure to incomplete or evolving information, uncover dependencies, assess downstream impacts, and drive cross functional alignment among Business, Product, Operations, Engineering, Data, Reporting, Risk, and Compliance teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Take ownership of complex data and process problems from initial discovery through analysis, decision making, and resolution.
. Lead cross functional discovery sessions to develop a shared understanding of business processes, data, system behavior, ownership, and dependencies.
. Identify and document how critical data is created, updated, transformed, synchronized, and consumed across OLTP, ODS, OLAP, customer facing applications, and reports.
. Analyze impact assessments for proposed changes to business processes, applications, integrations, data structures, and reporting solutions.
. Identify conflicting business definitions, undocumented dependencies, ownership gaps, data inconsistencies, and unresolved decisions.
. Establish clear facts, assumptions, risks, options, recommendations, actions, and accountable owners when information is incomplete or evolving.
. Identify data lineage, quality, synchronization, timing, reconciliation, traceability, and control gaps and coordinate resolution with the responsible teams.
. Communicate complex data and technology concerns in clear business terms, including customer, operational, reporting, delivery, and compliance impacts.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent degree
. Strong experience in business systems analysis, data analysis, solution delivery, or a related discipline involving complex enterprise applications.
. Demonstrated expertise in analyzing data flows, transformations, lineage, synchronization, reconciliation, and downstream impacts.
. Ability to create structure and maintain progress when requirements, ownership, or system behavior are incomplete, conflicting, or evolving.
. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and explain technical issues in business terms.
. Highly organized, with strong ownership, attention to detail, and follow through.
. Proactive, curious, collaborative, and comfortable initiating conversations across organizational boundaries.
. Relevant accomplishments and demonstrated capabilities are more important than a specific number of years of experience.

Preferred Experience:
. Banking, payments, merchant acquiring, card processing, or financial services experience.
. Experience with high volume, transaction intensive environments where processing timing, synchronization, reconciliation, availability, and auditability are important.
. Experience collaborating with engineering teams that support high volume enterprise applications.
. Understanding of payment lifecycle functions such as authorization, clearing, settlement, funding, disputes, or merchant servicing.
. Exposure to data governance, audit, risk, compliance, or control focused initiatives.

. Business and technical stakeholders have a shared understanding of how critical data moves through operational, analytical, customer facing, and reporting environments.
. Complex initiatives have clear direction, accountable owners, and documented decisions.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $156,700.00.
