Full Job Description
As an Applied AI Product Lead at Humana, you will be responsible for driving and shaping a complex product area within our applied AI portfolio. You will define what success looks like, prioritize key challenges, and identify impactful AI-driven strategies that align with our broader organizational goals. Your role will involve partnering directly with business units to deeply understand their operations, capture requirements, map processes, and uncover opportunities where AI can deliver significant improvement. You will translate business needs into clearly defined AI use cases and lead them from concept through rapid prototyping, evaluation, and validation—leveraging technologies such as GenAI, AI agents, conversational AI, and intelligent automation.
Collaboration is central to this role, as you will work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to set product vision, develop actionable roadmaps, and ensure steady progress towards goals and milestones. You will gather and analyze user research, business process data, and market insights to guide product decisions and influence the broader product organization. Additional responsibilities include developing evaluation frameworks for AI models and platforms, creating reusable product frameworks and best practices, fostering collaboration across teams, and communicating strategy and value to stakeholders. You will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting the growth of product managers and other cross-functional team members.

Required Qualifications
7+ years of relevant experience, including3+ years in product management, with a track record of leading products across the full lifecycle from discovery and prototyping through validation and deployment support.
Demonstrated ability toanalyze large, complex data sets and translate diverse user, business, and operational requirements into a clear, cohesive product strategy.
Deep knowledge ofAI/ML concepts and hands-on experience with enterprise AI solutions, including GenAI applications, conversational AI, intelligent automation, and AI-powered product development.
Practical experience withrapid AI prototyping, including GenAI platforms, prompt engineering, and AI agent frameworks, with the ability to guide solutions beyond strategy into execution.
Understanding ofAI solution architectures such as RAG, conversational AI, and vector databases, as well as experience developing evaluation frameworks to assess model and platform performance.
Familiarity withhuman-centered design, data visualization, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Lucid, Claude Code, along with knowledge of responsible AI principles, bias mitigation, and ethical AI design.
Preferred Qualifications
Experienceleading cross-functional teams and aligning engineers, designers, data scientists, and business stakeholders around product strategy, requirements, milestones, and outcomes.
Synthesize complex information and translate between business language and technical concepts with radical clarity.
Experience with product strategy, roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and agile delivery.
Experience building compelling business cases and ROI models that drive AI investment decisions.
Awareness of industry trends, emerging AI technologies, and best practices in enterprise AI product development.
Additional Information
This position follows a three (3) day in-office, hybrid work schedule and must be performed at our New York City office located at 1700 Broadway, New York, NY 10019.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$151,600 - $208,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
