Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Accountant to support the Americas Equipment Processing Centers (EPC) within the Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD) Business Resources team. In this role, you will lead monthly financial planning and analysis for the Americas EPC network, working closely with Operations leaders to deliver accurate financial insights, communicating results to leadership, and partnering with product groups that rely on EPCs for product distribution.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead Americas Equipment Processing Centers (EPC) financial planning and analysis.
  • Partner with the business to provide strategic insights and solve challenges with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Influence our finance culture by demonstrating desired behaviors, including but not limited to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Americas EPC Operations as the business analyst, provide financial insights.
  • Analyze financial impacts and clearly communicate insights to cross-functional leaders and product group partners to support enterprise decision-making project prioritization, and business proposals.

  • Independent decision making: Strong independent decision-making capability, applying sound judgment to assess complex operational and financial issues, recommend effective solutions, and drive issues to resolution with accountability and minimal supervision
  • Strong financial reporting and analytical skills: Including detailed analysis of P&L accounts, variance investigation, and delivery of accurate financial insights to support business decision-making.

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
