Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Introduce and engage new and existing clients to sell landscape maintenance and snow removal contracts.
  • Prepare and present detailed estimates and proposals to clients.
  • Conduct daily site visits and maintain regular communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Direct landscape crews with a clear and organized maintenance service order.
  • Proactively suggest additional services to clients to enhance their landscape investment.
  • Plan daily activities and meet regularly with the Branch Manager and Operations teams to evaluate progress toward sales goals.
  • Adhere to all company policies and perform other assigned duties.

Job Summary

An Account Manager/Client Care Specialist is responsible for client account management, including client retention, enhancement sales, new contract sales, business development, production layout and overview. This position will also ensure total client satisfaction while assisting the production department to produce the jobs using horticulturally correct and time-productive methods. This position will have winter responsibilities with our snow operations team. All employees are expected to carry out the company's purpose and demonstrate our core values.

As an Account Manager/Client Care Specialist at Schill Grounds Management, you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job:
  1. Introduce and meet with new and existing clients to sell commercial landscape maintenance contracts, enhancement services, and snow removal contracts.
  2. Prepare estimates and proposals for presentation to clients.
  3. Make daily customer site visits, and regular phone contact to ensure quality services and customer satisfaction.
  4. Direct landscape crews on maintenance service orders, with a detailed and planned approach.
  5. Consistently offer additional services to customers, to educate and build customer confidence regarding the enhancement of their landscape investment.
  6. Schedule and plan daily activities. Meet regularly with the Branch Manager and Operations teams to review progress, sales goals and performance.
  7. Follow all company policies and procedures.
  8. Perform any other duties as assigned.

JOB SKILLS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Previous CRM experience using LMN or Aspire is preferred

Valid driver's license with record acceptable to meet fleet insurance requirements

Previous Account Manager experience and sales experience within the green industry, preferred

Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test

Degree in landscape management, horticulture, or equivalent experience

5 years of experience with landscape maintenance

Certified Landscape Professional or Certified Landscape Technician, preferred

WORK CONDITIONS

Employees in this position should be able and willing to drive or travel locally as needed. Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends. Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate in snow removal activities. This position will require working outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, sun, extreme cold, or heat.
