PURPOSE:

Oversee the Laminate Department and its processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Establish and maintain an effective cost savings program.

2. Develop, implement, and maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for all production equipment.

3. Coordinate all preventive maintenance down time with the Scheduling Department.

4. Provide guidance to Group Leaders and Supervisor in the Laminate Tube Department.

5. Evaluate and provide proper training for all department personnel.

6. Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department of health requirements.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Oversee and ensure all department expenses are held within the department budget.

2. Establish an annual listing of department capital expenditures.

3. Maintain an annual listing of department operating expenditures.

4. Maintain a professional, motivated, and positive working environment among Laminate Tube Department personnel.

5. Conduct operational meetings with Laminate Tube Department personnel.

6. Responsible for ensuring all standards of ISO and SQF are met.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or management / business preferred.

2. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously

3. Knowledge of printing, plastics, and assembly systems.

4. Ability to lead, motivate, and direct employees

AUTHORITIES:

1. Approve/Reject CIO's

2. Approve/Reject all spending requests for Laminate Department
