We are looking for a Labour and Employment Associate who enjoys working collaboratively, providing practical solutions to clients, and contributing to a supportive team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and the chance to develop a long-term career in workplace law.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of post-call experience in labour and employment law
  • Experience advising employers on a broad range of workplace law matters including labour relations, human rights and employment
  • Strong advocacy skills with experience in labour arbitration, and labour board and human rights proceedings
  • Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills with a practical, solution-focused approach
  • A client-service mindset with the ability to provide clear, business-oriented advice
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Interest in ongoing professional development and mentorship
  • Member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia (or eligibility for transfer)
  • Commitment to a management-side practice in Vancouver or Kelowna

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $142,000 - $235,000+ annually, taking into account the candidate's skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as internal and market equity.
