Kubernetes Engineer Job DescriptionJob TitleKubernetes EngineerJob Summary We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize Kubernetes-based container platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience with container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. You will collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments. Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. Configure and manage Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests. Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization. Troubleshoot Kubernetes, networking, and container-related issues. Implement security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Perform cluster upgrades, scaling, backup, and disaster recovery planning. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment strategies. Maintain documentation for Kubernetes environments and operational procedures. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of Kubernetes platforms. Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration. Experience with Docker and containerization technologies. Knowledge of Linux system administration. Understanding of Kubernetes networking, ingress, services, and storage. Experience with Helm and Kubernetes Operators. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
