Overview

LMI seeks a skilled Knowledge Management Analyst responsible for assisting Customs and Border Protection (CBP), US Border Patrol (USBP) to execute its tactical infrastructure construction, maintenance, and repair program, which generally consists of the life cycle planning and execution of construction, maintenance and repair along the borders of the United States. This position will support the Knowledge Management functions across the program. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client keep U.S. borders safe and facilitate trade and travel. As part of our high-performing team, you will augment our vital work to provide “eyes and ears” technology to protect our nation. Position location is hybrid remote with one or more days per week at the customer site in Washington, DC. Some travel may be required.

  

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and enculturation of the organizational Knowledge Management (KM) framework, strategy, policies, process, and procedures:

 

  • Develop and implement the KM strategy.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on the use of multiple tools currently housed within PMOD's technology suite, including Clarity PPM tool, Microsoft Teams, etc. as well as work with an onsite Administrator on the overhaul, redesign, and functionality of their current SharePoint site.
  • Design, develop, and implement KM systems.
  • Develop KM policy, processes, procedures, and other process assets.
  • Support Business Transformation and Continuous Process Improvement efforts.
  • Oversee the establishment, maintenance, training, and utilization of Knowledge repositories and Knowledge exchange technologies:
  • Liaise with OIT regarding technology tools support for knowledge capture, storage, transfer, security, and access.
  • Develop and execute the SharePoint Governance Plan.
  • Provide SharePoint architecture and content management support.
  • Develop and maintain the PMOD Process Asset Library.
  • Develop and deploy Office Communicator capability
  • Provide PMOD workforce with user training on SharePoint, PAL, Office Communicator, and other tools.
  • Support design, development, and implementation of automated Requirements Management, Configuration Management and Document Management systems.
  • Promote organizational learning, knowledge sharing, and optimizes knowledge utilization:
  • Support the creation and maintenance of acquisition Communities of Practice and forums.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of acquisition Professional Reading List library.
  • Leads the development, implementation, and enculturation of the organizational Knowledge Management framework, strategy, policies, process, and procedures.
  • Oversees the establishment, maintenance, training, and utilization of knowledge repositories and knowledge exchange technologies.
  • Promotes organizational learning, knowledge sharing, and optimizes knowledge utilization.
Qualifications
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant work experience
  • Previous work with CBP’s technology programs is a plus.
  • Experience with document management.
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively solve problems.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $140,000.00 Annually

The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
