Full Job Description
Location: Based in International Falls, MN

Solenis is seeking a driven and experienced Key Account Manager to oversee a large paper account in Minnesota. This role is ideal for a technical sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships, delivering value-added solutions, and driving business growth in industrial water treatment.

What You'll Do
  • Maintain regular communication with sales management to keep stakeholders informed on account activity
  • Complete weekly reporting and manage inventory to ensure visibility and accountability
  • Perform on-site testing to verify safety and effectiveness of treatment programs
  • Proactively address customer issues, collaborating with sales and customer teams to implement corrective actions
  • Analyze data to evaluate program performance and drive continuous improvement decisions
  • Partner with plant/process owners to lead and implement ongoing process improvements in a manufacturing environment


What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or other technical discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered, including 10+ years of relevant manufacturing or equipment experience.
  • Ideal candidate would have documented sales success in the paper industry, along with strong background in pulp and paper industry.
  • Ability to solve complex and non-routine technical problems.
  • Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial processes and customer operations, or the ability to quickly learn industry-specific applications and technologies.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must reside within approximately 45 minutes of International Falls, MN
  • Experience with laboratory testing, pumps, pipefitting, and electrical systems preferred.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call weekend rotation

The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,730.00 and $118,404.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
