About the job K106 - Functional Safety Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Functional Safety work products including HARA, FTA and related safety engineering deliverables.
  • Support impact analyses for assigned SW features and ensure safety implications are captured clearly.
  • Collaborate with Feature Systems Engineers and Systems Simulation & Robustness Engineers to develop or merge Gherkin scenarios for safety and technical requirements.
  • Support requirement refinement, traceability and technical alignment across the feature development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to reviews and closure of Functional Safety actions with clear evidence and rationale.

Requirements:
  • Functional Safety engineering experience for automotive embedded systems.
  • ISO 26262 work-product knowledge, including HARA and FTA.
  • Hands-on experience with MagicDraw, SysML, MBSE and GitHub-based collaboration.
  • Ability to work closely with feature systems, software, validation and cross-functional engineering stakeholders.
