Overview: We are seeking a Junior RV Trading Assistant to join our trading team in Northfield, Illinois. This role is built for someone with experience on a relative value trading desk who is hungry, disciplined, and willing to put in the work required to develop into a strong trader.
This is an on-site role. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Chicago area and work from our Northfield office for no less than two years.
Job Responsibilities:- Support relative value trading activity across fixed income and related markets.
- Help identify and evaluate relative value opportunities.
- Monitor market conditions, liquidity, positioning, and macroeconomic developments.
- Assist with trade execution, risk monitoring, and portfolio analysis.
- Work closely with senior traders, research, risk, and operations teams.
- Build and maintain tools, reports, and models to support trading decisions.
- Stay engaged with markets throughout the day and be prepared to work long hours when conditions require it.
Requirements:- Experience on a relative value trading desk, 6 months minimum.
- Fixed income trading experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic, discipline, and willingness to grind through details.
- Ability to learn quickly, take feedback, and improve through repetition.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a demanding, performance-driven trading environment.
- Must be willing to relocate to the Chicago area.
- Must be able to work onsite at our Northfield office for a minimum of two years.
- Takes ownership of outcomes and does not need constant hand-holding.
- Is curious about markets and willing to do the daily work required to build edge.

The range below reflects the expected base salary for this position. It represents a good-faith estimate of the base pay we anticipate offering, with actual compensation determined by your experience, education, skills, and performance throughout the interview process. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus (at DV Trading's discretion) and DV Trading's benefits package, including the benefits listed above.

$80,000-$120,000 USD
