Salary: $52k- $123k Per Annum
Job Summary We are looking for a Junior Salesforce Developer to support Salesforce administration and development activities, including coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and application support. The ideal candidate will have foundational Salesforce development and administration experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work within an Agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities - Use modern tools, techniques, and methods to provide Salesforce Administration and Salesforce Development services.
- Develop, modify, and update applications used by business or infrastructure teams.
- Help determine business needs and identify processes that can be automated through Salesforce applications.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities to create and modify Salesforce functionality.
- Provide administrative support for Salesforce applications.
- Gather and analyze requirements and translate them into appropriate Salesforce solutions and best practices.
- Create technical documentation and follow defined Agile development processes when designing new functionality.
- Support Salesforce solution roadmaps, priority definition, and stakeholder coordination.
- Support data management initiatives to improve Salesforce data quality through rules and automation.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Platform, Aura components, and related technologies.
- Support system integrations using APIs within Salesforce and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field; or 7 years of related experience.
- 2-4+ years of professional Salesforce development experience, with approximately 1-3 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Experience identifying and gathering requirements and translating requirements into Salesforce best practices.
- Knowledge of scalable Salesforce solutions with a focus on user experience.
- Experience creating technical documentation and following Agile development processes.
- Experience contributing to Salesforce solution roadmaps, priorities, and stakeholder discussions.
- Experience with Salesforce data management, data quality, rules, and automation.
- Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Platform, Aura-based Lightning components, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Experience with system integrations using APIs and Salesforce/MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce administration with limited deep platform experience.
- Comfortable using declarative tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Validation Rules.
- Ability to write basic Apex classes and triggers and develop Lightning components under review.
- Experience working within a single Salesforce org with limited integrations and established architectural patterns.
- Knowledge of Salesforce core objects, security model, and deployment basics such as Change Sets or Copado.
- Ability to work under the guidance of senior developers or architects for design and performance decisions.
Desired Qualifications - Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or Cloud Consultant are preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
