Join WSP's Mining Project Management team and contribute to the delivery of multidisciplinary mining and environmental projects across Western and Northern Canada. We are open to candidates sitting anywhere across Canada.

This opportunity is ideal for a developing Project Manager who is strengthening their delivery, financial, and client management capabilities within a structured project governance environment. You will collaborate with experienced project leaders, gaining exposure to a wide range of projects while benefiting from mentorship, guidance, and a clear development pathway.

You will make a difference by:
• Supporting the delivery of multidisciplinary mining and environmental projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality commitments are achieved
• Coordinating project teams and defined workstreams, enabling effective collaboration across technical disciplines
• Contributing to project financial performance through budgeting support, cost tracking, forecasting, and invoicing
• Supporting client relationships by acting as a day-to-day point of contact and providing clear communication and progress updates
• Promoting a strong culture of health, safety, and quality aligned with WSP's Business Management System and project delivery standards
• Partnering with senior project leaders to strengthen project governance, risk awareness, and delivery excellence

The Skills That Set You Apart

You bring:
• 3-5 years of experience supporting or coordinating projects within consulting, engineering, environmental, or mining-related environments
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• A working knowledge of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
• Experience supporting project financials, schedules, and technical deliverables within a professional services environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to project management systems is an asset
• Experience in mining, environmental, or regulatory projects is considered an advantage
• Experience using Oracle for financial tracking is an asset
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) designation (or progress toward it) is an asset

Compensation

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - 112,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
