If that sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity to join our CapWest Construction team in Vancouver as a Junior Formwork Project Manager.

Scheduling:

  • Developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules


  • Reviewing critical path, and quickly adapting or accelerating projects to meet deadlines


  • Reporting, and updating Project Director and CapWest Forming leadership of project schedule


Management and Leadership:

  • Oversee tendering process and contract administration


  • Overall planning and defining of project scope for all subcontractors, and employees as coordinated with the Project Director.


  • Project resource and equipment allocation from internal and external resources.


  • Project documentation, communication and reporting


Quality Control:

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans if required


  • Ongoing troubleshooting and problem solving, including tracking of changes in drawings, internal change orders and back charges.


  • Ensure project is built on budget, on schedule and on drawing specifications


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Minimum 5 years of multifamily residential construction related experience


  • Understanding of the structural building sequence


  • Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution


  • Experience overseeing large high-rise and podium multifamily and commercial projects an asset


  • Certificate, University degree, or college diploma would be an asset


  • Project Management education an asset

Salary Range:

$75,000 - $95,000
