This Opportunity

WSP is seeking a Junior Project Controls Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in Glastonbury. This is a hybrid position.

Your Impact

Job Duties:
  • Assisting Senior schedulers in reviewing contractor schedules for compliance with contract documents
  • Tracking and verifying progress against baseline schedules
  • Supporting critical path analysis and schedule quality reviews
  • Collecting and validating schedule progress information from contractors, inspectors, and project team members
  • Preparing schedule updates, progress narratives, and graphical reports (Gantt charts, histograms)
  • Supporting "What-If" and recovery schedule scenarios
  • Assisting with Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and claims reviews
  • Developing planning schedules and resource/cost loading concepts
  • Participating in schedule review meetings and collaborating with project teams
  • Schedule / Progress Reporting


Who You Are

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction, project controls, scheduling, inspection, field engineering, or related disciplines
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and report preparation
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Field construction, inspection, or transportation infrastructure experience is a plus
  • Completion of Primavera P6 coursework or pursuit of AACE/PMI certifications is a plus
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $85,800-100,080/yr

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
