We are hiring a Systems Engineer to support requirements management, system architecture, systems integration, design, development, and implementation activities in a cleared environment. This role requires U.S. citizenship, an active Secret security clearance, a bachelor's degree in a technical field, and at least one year of experience with requirements management.

This role supports the analysis of user requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documentation, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. The Systems Engineer will also contribute to technical documentation, system design, Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs), integration and test planning, and collaboration with Product Teams. Experience with Atlassian tools, Jira, Confluence, Git, automated CI/CD pipelines, and structured software development lifecycle processes is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documentation, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze and manage system requirements while supporting system design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating and refining requirements, evaluating alternative technical approaches, and conducting feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, system design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
• Support system development and implementation planning through the assessment or preparation of Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs).
• Develop and support system integration and test plans.
• Collaborate with Product Teams on systems engineering requirements, designs, integration activities, and technical considerations.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• At least one year of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with requirements management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
• Experience configuring automated CI/CD pipelines, including setup, scripting, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including specification, design, implementation, integration, debugging, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with structured, process-driven software development environments, including peer reviews, revision control, defect tracking, build processes, and release practices.
• Experience with Git-based version control products.

Estimated Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 (Based on factors such as Government labor categories (LCATs) education, experience, geographic location, etc.)
