Full Job Description
Jr. Electrical Engineer for the Hanover, Maryland office. In this role, the Jr. Electrical Engineer would be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning through final design for projects of advanced complexity under the supervision of a Supervising Electrical Engineer. The Jr. Engineer would interact with other disciplines, project support groups, vendors and client representatives as appropriate on assigned projects and is responsible for initiating and developing engineering calculations, studies and drawings through completion in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established for the project.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4 year ABET accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 1 year of electrical engineering experience performing calculations, analyses and design documents development.
  • Experience in power system analysis, including load flow, voltage drop, short circuit calculations.
  • Experience with developing electrical one-line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience in sizing electrical equipment.
  • Basic understanding of power system analysis, lighting, power & control, grounding, lightning protection systems.
  • Proficient in 2D AutoCAD.
  • Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills.
  • Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen. Must not have Dual Citizenship.
  • Candidate must be eligible to obtain a DoD TS//SCI clearance and access to DoD Facilities.
  • Position may require travel.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • DOE/DOD/Army Corp of Engineer project experience
  • Advanced level of experience in communications and security systems
  • Experience in using BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, SKM and etap

Compensation & Benefits:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75K - $90K (Annually) (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Compensation Details:
