Summary:
The Journeyman Web Developer supports the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise websites and database-driven web applications.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, update, and maintain websites, web pages, and web application components.
- Support the development and maintenance of dynamic, database-driven web applications.
- Collaborate with site owners, customers, and project teams to organize and publish web content.
- Develop web forms, navigation structures, reports, and user interface components.
- Execute SQL scripts and support database maintenance and data modeling activities.
- Ensure websites and applications comply with W3C, WCAG, and Section 508 standards.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data management principles.
- Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility compliance standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in web development or application support.
- Experience supporting website development and maintenance activities.
- Each contractor employee must be a US citizen and have a favorably completed T3, T3R, or equivalent investigation to obtain a favorable determination for assignment. The investigation consists of a standard National Agency Check and an FBI fingerprint check plus law enforcement checks and credit check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
