Supports the Program Manager for the Coast Guard's CWMD Capabilities. The CWMD program includes the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) response capabilities. *This position is contingent upon award. What You'll Do: • Acts as primary POC for the Joint Requirements Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JRO-CBRN). • Review current DOD strategy and policy statements to ensure the Coast Guard can meet operational requirements associated with supporting DOD missions. • Provide Monthly Status Report • Support USCG involvement, and participation in the development and implementation of the GNDA. • Support assessments to determine the extent to which USCG incorporated and addressed threat assessments by the IC into its GNDA related operations. • Support the DHS Fiscal Year budget build process during the current FY for Radiation /Nuclear (Rad/Nuc) detection. • Identify any performance, operational, or technical deficiencies of R/N detection technology deployed.
