General Description: The Senior JDE Developer Analyst has primary responsibilities for the technical changes and support for the ERP system (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne). Key duties and responsibilities include the technical aspects of developing or reviewing system changes, performing system configuration, implementing changes using JDE Development Tools and adhering to documentation standards. In conjunction with business and functional analysts, the role will analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to provide coaching on system use, recommend changes and automation to improve efficiency. Responsible for working closely with other IT development team members to deploy, test and promote production objects and to promote best practices in maintaining user and technical documentation. Another area of responsibility will be mentoring ACCO staff. This will require the successful candidate to play a variety of the roles in JDE SDLC processes to facilitate knowledge transfer to Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, Developers and Support teams regarding JDE development best practices.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing best practices in JDE configuration, development and technical support functions. This includes sharing best practices with other staff members.
  • Responsible for working as part of the IT team to translate the business requirements into coded solutions, configuration of the JDE system, and ongoing maintenance and support of the configuration.
  • Responsible for retrofitting of modified code into Oracle-provided objects resulting from upgrades and continuous delivery processes.
  • Be influential in the adoption of standard JDE development processes. Work with other ACCO developers and consultants to successfully implement best practices across the department.
  • Implement processes that are accurate, streamlined, and well documented with an emphasis on providing timely and accurate data to the business.
  • Coordinate with the SME's and Business Analysts to maintain the accuracy of technical and functional specifications to be in alignment with the business requirements and "as built" details as they evolve over time.
  • Work with technical teams to develop prototypes and solutions to demonstrate capabilities to ACCO Business units and customers.
  • Collaborate and direct developers as needed to meet functional goals. Transfer knowledge in the technical areas of ERW, BI Publisher, OneView, ReportsNow, UDOs, CafeOne and integrations to other systems using tools such as Orchestrator.
  • Adhere to the Enterprise SDLC processes to design, build, test, and implement applications and reports, primarily using the Oracle tools noted above.
  • Actively engage in mentoring others in creating standard documentation
  • Other duties as assigned by the management team.

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):
  • Over 5 years with JDE at an expert level
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new business teams. This includes leadership in acquisition conversion processes and approaches.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong data analysis, design and testing skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems independently and to seek out and generate innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams on overlapping projects.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, talk and hear.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

Competitive Wages:

$106,000 to $143,000 Annual Salary. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
