Job DescriptionResponsibilities- Utilize indepth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications
- Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects
- Contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
- Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations
- Impact the Applications Development area through monitoring delivery of end results
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary
Qualifications - 8-12 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
- Experience as senior level in an Applications Development role
- Stakeholder and people management experience
- Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Solid understanding of objectoriented programming and design pattern
Requirements - Exhibit sound understanding of theories and practices in architecture in multiple related areas
- Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of Big Data Grid Computing Data Warehousing Cloud Computing and programming languages such as Java Spark and Python
- Extensive development expertise in building the high scaled and performant software platforms for data computation and processing
- Expert level knowledge of core Java concepts and framework such as Spring Boot Microservices and well versed with OOPs concepts and design patterns
- Handson experience with Apache Spark with Java
- Experience with caching solutions like Pinot Redis etc
- Strong knowledge of Oracle DB including schema design and query optimization
- Deep knowledge of how technology integrates within the organization and of direct competitors products and services
- Strong leadership
- Ability to persuade and influence senior leaders through excellent data driven communication and diplomacy skills
- Finance domain knowledge is plus
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 85,000 - 95,000
