Job Summary
We are seeking a Java Backend Lead with 12+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership while building high-performance microservices, optimizing backend architecture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, and highly scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Translate application requirements and use cases into functional, reusable, and testable Java code.
• Integrate with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and optimization.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize application response times, and scale backend architecture.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests using frameworks such as JUnit.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end applications.
Required Qualifications
• 12+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• High proficiency in Java and modern Java versions.
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of microservices, monolithic architecture, and design patterns.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience writing and optimizing complex database queries.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
