Location - Alpharetta, GAJob Description We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and messaging systems like Kafka/MQ, along with strong database and scripting knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and implement microservices-based architecture.
- Work with Kafka/MQ for messaging and event-driven systems.
- Perform database design, development, and performance tuning using SQL (DB2/Sybase).
- Write and maintain scripts using Shell/Unix, Python, or Perl.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Required Skills:- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in: Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Kafka or MQ.
- Strong experience with SQL databases (DB2/Sybase) including data modeling and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting / Unix environment.
- Working knowledge of Python or Perl.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-driven with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders across all levels.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00
