Davis Partnership Architects is searching for a senior-level
Windows Systems & Infrastructure Administrator to ensure the performance, stability, and security of our core infrastructure supporting business-critical applications across on-premises and hybrid environments.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Windows Server management
- VMware virtualization environments
- Enterprise SAN storage systems
- Data Protection platforms
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWindows Server & Core Infrastructure- Administer Microsoft Windows Server (2019, 2022, 2025)
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
- Lead server builds, migrations, and platform standardization
VMware Virtualization- Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure
- Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle planning
- Monitor system performance and availability
- Support dHCI and integrated compute platforms
SAN Storage & Data Center Operations- Administer enterprise SAN environments
- Manage storage provisioning, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Support data center operations (hardware installs, refresh cycles, decommissioning)
Data Protection & Cyber Resilience- Support backup and disaster recovery systems
- Administer data replication platforms (e.g., Zerto)
- Participate in recovery planning and testing
Additional Responsibilities- Support Microsoft Azure / M365 / Intune environments
- Assist with infrastructure-related networking initiatives
- Maintain documentation, standards, and operational procedures
- Serve as an escalation point for infrastructure issues
- Provide occasional advanced end-user support
Requirements- 8-12 years of experience in:
- Windows Server administration
- VMware virtualization
- SAN storage environments
- Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, firewalls, TCP/IP)
- Proven ability to manage infrastructure lifecycle, patching, and upgrades
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight, while actively collaborating and contributing as a strong team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to commute to the Datacenter locations within Denver metropolitan area
- Immediate Availability
Required Certifications / Training- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
- VMware Certified Professional - VMware vSphere Foundation (Support or Administrator)
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with data replication and disaster recovery platforms
- Experience with configuration management tools
- Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and operational support skills
- Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and IT management tooling
- Prior experience supporting architecture, engineering, or professional services firms
Although many of us are working a hybrid in-office and remote from home schedule, working from Denver is required.
BenefitsCompensation is provided on a salaried-basis commensurate with experience ranging from $95,000 to $110,000 annually.
