IT Systems Analyst I, II or III
This role bridges the gap between end-user business needs and enterprise technology standards. The position manages a diverse portfolio of business software administration, low-code solution development (such as workflow automation and Google Apps scripting), and advanced end-user support services.
Salary Ranges:
Level I: $76,029 - $106,441
Level II: $81,926 - $118,792
Level III: $88,316 - $132,474

Core Responsibilities (All Levels):- Application Maintenance: Administer and maintain on-premise and cloud-based business software applications, ensuring consistent availability, patching, and long-term performance.
- Workspace Optimization: Support and optimize the County's Google Workspace productivity environment, evaluating and deploying new platform capabilities.
- Workflow Automation: Architect and implement automation workflows, scripts, integrations, and utility applications utilizing low-code development platforms (such as AppSheet and Workspace Studio).
- AI Collaboration: Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to identify, test, and deploy practical Artificial Intelligence (AI) use cases.
- Stakeholder Support & Documentation: Gather system requirements from end users, create technical documentation/user guides, and deliver guidance and training on software best practices.
- Emergency Support: Provide ad-hoc technical support to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) as required during county emergency events.

- Focus: Exercises a high level of independent ownership over complex system lifecycles and advanced workflow automation. Assumes increased responsibility for project implementation, acting as a primary optimization resource for the team.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in identifying and enabling information technology solutions.
Qualifications & Key Skills:- Education: Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge).
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, application configuration, software design, and programming principles.
- Platform Familiarity: Comfort working with Google Apps scripting, Workspace Studio, AppSheet, and standard AI tools.
- Communication & Adaptability: Exceptional listening and questioning skills with the ability to modify work activities in response to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles.
Travel & Licensure Requirements:This position will be expected to travel independently to our various locations throughout the Eagle River Valley and Roaring Fork Valley to support employees, attend hearings and events, and participate in other work-related activities. A valid Colorado Driver's license is preferred but not required; however, any employee electing to operate a personal or county vehicle for official county business must possess a valid driver's license and successfully pass a background and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
