Position Summary: The Systems Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure. This position requires a proactive leader with expertise in systems architecture, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The Systems Administrator ensures the seamless operation of servers, networks, and applications while safeguarding system security and performance. By leveraging a deep understanding of IT best practices, the Senior Systems Administrator drives innovation, supports business goals, and mentors junior IT staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Minimum of 8+ years of IT systems administration experience, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Database Administration: 8+ years of SQL experience, ERP system support, including experience writing SQL queries, supporting SQL-based environments and manufacturing floor systems (labeling, scanning, shop floor integrations).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficient in Windows Server, Linux/Unix systems, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and cybersecurity practices.
- Strong documentation skills to create and maintain technical procedures.

- Lead projects to modernize and optimize IT infrastructure, including migrations, upgrades, and implementations at the direction of the Sr. IT Manager.
- Evaluate and select tools, technologies, and processes that align with organizational objectives.
- Share knowledge and provide training to junior administrators, fostering skill development.
- Define and enforce IT policies, ensuring consistent and secure system operations.
- Explore emerging technologies and recommend solutions to maintain a competitive edge.

Pay Transparency: Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $80,000 to $115,000 per year, plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
