Summary

Incumbent deploys, maintains and decommissions hardware and software (Windows computers and iOS mobile devices), provides technical support (phone, email and desk-side), and assists with technical projects. Incumbent must possess strong technical and customer service skills and be able to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stay organized and communicate effectively is a must.

Duties:

Typical duties include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Configures and deploys desktops computers, laptops, peripherals and
    mobile devices
  • Creates and manages Active Directory user accounts and distribution
    groups
  • Troubleshoots desktop and mobile device problems
  • Provides technical phone and desk-side support to end users
  • Supports disaster recovery and business continuity programs

Work Schedule:

Full-time, permanent. Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Must be able to work outside of normal business hours - evenings and weekends may be required.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

This job is based in

a typical office environment. Role requires equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.

The incumbent should be capable of meeting physical requirements, which may

include sitting, lifting, bending, crouching, walking, and standing.

Other Significant Factors:

  • Job requires on-call support.
  • Job requires local travel within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
  • Job may be required to report to work in all conditions.
  • Job may require various shifts, extended hours or weekends.
