IT Support ManagerThe IT Support Manager will be responsible for the company's overall classified and unclassified computing environments, cloud environments, and for providing onsite user support. This requires overseeing the company's managed service providers and maintaining the corporate IT strategy.
Responsibilities- Managing the contracts with the company's two managed service providers to ensure that services are being delivered according to contract specifications
- Developing and managing the company's IT strategy
- Managing cloud resources
- Ensuring the company's overall IT security posture is in alignment with corporate goals
- Developing custom, in-house applications and utilities in Python and SharePoint
- Identifying opportunities to implement software solutions to gain team efficiencies across all departments
- Managing the IT onboarding activities for new users
- Managing inventory of IT workstations and ordering devices as needed
What's expected in the first 30 days:- Work with managed service provider to complete the corporate migration to the new password management system
- Work with managed service provider to complete the corporate implementation of the network security and authentication system
- Transition onsite SCIF workstation support from managed service provider to in-house resource
What's expected in the first 60 days- Evaluate and implement a request management system that will be used by corporate users to request services for the IT, Data Science, and Training teams
What's expected in the first 90 days- Develop strategy to migrate from Slack to Microsoft Teams
- Work with Chief Information Security Officer to develop and implement a plan to get CMMC Level 2 accreditation
Required Qualifications and Skills- Minimum of 3 years experience managing IT environments
- Knowledge of managing Windows desktops
- Demonstrated experience writing scripts and applets to improve operational efficiencies
- Demonstrated experience building applications on top of collaboration platforms such as Sharepoint, Slack, or equivalent
- Experience in coding in Python or equivalent language
- Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance
Desired Qualifications and Skills- Previous experience working within federal contracts or directly for the federal government
- Previous experience working with Geospatial Imagery Analysis or Data Annotation
- Previous experience managing third party vendors
Physical Requirements- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to bend over and lift up to 50 pounds
Background and Clearance- Applicants selected will be subject to a standard background check and security clearnce verification. Active US TS-SCI is required for this role.
Work Location - Enabled Intelligence office in Falls Church, VA with some travel to client offices in National Capital Region and St. Louis, MO.
