- Serve as senior technical expert and technical lead for complex IT software products, including public-facing and enterprise systems, with responsibility for modernization, architecture, and alignment with mission needs.
- Lead DevSecOps implementation and oversight to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient product development, deployment, monitoring, and sustainment.
- Direct cybersecurity compliance and authorization activities, including support for the Information System Security Assessment and Authorization program.
- Provide technical leadership for data strategy, data dissemination, process automation, and AI/ML adoption to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, you must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service: For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-13.
Specialized experience for this position includes:- Experience serving as a technical lead on an agile DevSecOps team, using multiple programming languages such as Java, C#, Angular, SQL, AWS Lambda, JSON, or equivalent, to develop, modernize, and deliver secure public-facing or enterprise IT products based on business needs, including oversight of cybersecurity compliance and secure product delivery. OR
- Experience as a technical lead or program manager overseeing AI and Machine Learning implementations, or data dissemination modernization, or process automation, to improve operational efficiency and mission outcomes.
