We are seeking an experienced
IT Software Engineer with strong expertise in
Java backend development to join a dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and developing enterprise applications, leading distributed teams, and building scalable, highly available solutions in AWS.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain complex Java-based backend applications.
- Lead development and provide technical guidance to distributed teams.
- Develop and maintain RESTful web services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and production issues.
- Build scalable, highly available, and reliable software solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technology evaluations.
- Perform integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
- Mentor junior developers and promote software development best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical features.
- Participate in DevOps activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience leading geographically distributed teams.
- Strong experience with Java 17.
- Hands-on backend development experience (Required).
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Strong AWS experience, including:
- IAM
- Kinesis
- DynamoDB
- API Services
- SQS
- SNS
- KMS
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with DevOps practices.
- Understanding of software architecture and designing highly available systems.
