Description & RequirementsJob Title: IT Project Manager Job Summary The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects that align with business objectives. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages scope, schedule, budget, and risk, and ensures transparent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The IT Project Manager drives accountability, removes obstacles, and ensures high-quality, on-time delivery of IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities - Own end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through closure
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria in partnership with business and IT stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business partners, vendors, and external partners
- Track progress, manage dependencies, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues
- Own project governance activities including status reporting, escalation management, and stakeholder reviews
- Ensure project delivery aligns to enterprise standards, security requirements, and compliance expectations
- Manage changes in scope, timeline, and cost through formal change control processes
- Facilitate key project ceremonies such as kickoffs, standups, planning sessions, and retrospectives (as applicable)
- Drive clear communication, alignment, and accountability across all project participants
- Support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and delivery best practices
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience managing IT projects or technology-focused initiatives
- Demonstrated experience managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk
- Strong understanding of SDLC, infrastructure, applications, or enterprise systems
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet)
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications - Project management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe)
- Experience in large enterprise or matrixed organizations
- Familiarity with portfolio management, governance models, or enterprise delivery frameworks
- Experience leading vendor-managed or globally distributed teams
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, or digital transformation initiatives
