Position Summary

As the IT Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our corporate strategic and large transformational projects to ensure it meets committed cost, timelines, and quality standards. We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our team and lead the transformation of project management practices for Pike. This role is a great fit for someone who excels in managing complex technical projects, vendor relationships, and embraces Agile principles, including Scrum. You will report to the IT Director PMO. This job is on-site in Fort Mill, SC.
Essential Functions:
  • Implementation and Integration:
    • Lead the implementation of Oracle/Microsoft projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop specifications, and ensure the solution meets business needs
    • Coordinate with Oracle and other third-party vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of services
  • Project Planning and Management:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation
    • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and deliver projects within budget.
    • Define project success criteria and communicate them to involved parties throughout the project lifecycle
  • Jira Administration, Team Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Administer, configure, and optimize Jira Cloud to support project, workflow, permission, and automation needs across technology teams
    • Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction and support to team members
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks
    • Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project continuity
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are aligned with business requirements
    • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards
  • Change Management:
    • Develop and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of Oracle Field Services
    • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful system utilization
  • Vendor Management:
    • Identify and engage with third-party vendors and suppliers to support program and project needs
    • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and relationships, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery of goods and services
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Be the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring open and transparent communication
    • Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
Minimum Requirements:
  • Regular attendance is required
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of IT processes and tools as it pertains to project management, financial management and resource planning
  • 10+ years in IT program management, including leadership roles with a focus on agile delivery
  • Strong financial acumen with a successful track record in budget management
  • Ability to design and execute strategic IT support initiatives in alignment with business objectives
  • Proficiency in vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement processes
  • Familiarity with the field service business and process/tools to facilitate running a crew based field services business
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) or technical certifications are advantageous.

Other Sills:
  • Experience with Oracle cloud products including Field services, Fusion HCM, Fusion ERP and CX cloud
  • Experience with Microsoft products including Dyamics 360, Azure EDW and Power apps
  • Master's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in a leadership role of a large matrixed organization
  • 8+ years of experience managing operational and/or project financial budgets
  • 8+ years of IT experience developing and implementing systems within an organization
  • 8+ years of experience managing systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions
