• Plan, lead, and manage complex IT projects and programs from initiation through delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and success criteria.
• Coordinate activities across multiple departments, technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports.
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones while managing dependencies, risks, and resource constraints.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address issues, risks, and change requests.
• Facilitate governance activities including steering committees, status reviews, and executive updates.
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards, methodologies, and compliance requirements.
• Manage budget tracking, resource allocation, and vendor performance (as applicable).
• Support transition to operations, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation reviews.
• Promote continuous improvement in project delivery processes and practices.
Required Skills:
• Proven experience managing complex IT projects or programs in medium to large enterprise environments.
• Strong ability to coordinate across departments, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in ensuring on-time delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid).
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, risk management, and change control.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
• Strong understanding of IT systems, application development, infrastructure, and integration concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience managing multi-year or enterprise-wide programs.
• Prior experience in government, public-sector, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with financial tracking, vendor management, and contract oversight.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
