PURPOSEThe Information Technology (IT) Project Manager reports directly to the IT Director and plays a pivotal role within the IT department. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology initiatives that align with Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel's strategic goals. The IT Project Manager ensures the successful implementation of IT projects that enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and elevate the guest experience. This role oversees cross-functional teams, manages timelines, and ensures effective communication with stakeholders to deliver projects to the highest standards.
SUPERVISORY SCOPE ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES - Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. Proactively address risks and ensure seamless execution of all IT projects.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure project success, fostering collaboration and clear communication across technical teams, business units, and vendors.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, delivering regular project updates and ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Oversee testing, user training, and compliance to ensure IT solutions meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain thorough documentation for all projects.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure delivery of project components, adherence to service level agreements, and resolution of vendor-related issues.
- Technology Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems, minimizing disruptions to operations and maximizing system efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze project outcomes to identify lessons learned and implement improvements for future initiatives. Contribute to ongoing enhancements of IT processes and systems.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Support the property's overall operations and success by fulfilling additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
Education and Experience :- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. An additional two (2) years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Four (4) years of experience in IT project management within an equivalent-sized property.
- Project Management Professional Certification
Skills and Abilities: - Technical Expertise: Proficient in IT project management tools and methodologies, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and compliance requirements.
- Leadership and Communication: Demonstrates exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Capable of managing multiple priorities, identifying innovative solutions, and making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Vendor and Contract Negotiation: Skilled in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to align with project requirements.
- Change Management Expertise: Experienced in managing organizational change associated with new IT implementations, including stakeholder alignment and user adoption strategies.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain precision in managing complex project details, including schedules, resources, and technical specifications.
PREFERRED Education and Experience :- Experience in a Casino Hotel environment.
