IT Project ManagerAshland, MAThe RoleWe are seeking a dynamic
IT Project Manager for our Ashland, MA location, to lead both business applications and IT infrastructure initiatives. This role blends strategy and execution-translating business needs into scalable technology solutions while driving cross-functional teams to deliver results for example; project on-time delivery and within budget parameters.
You'll manage a wide range of initiatives including ERP upgrades, SaaS integrations, network modernization, and cloud migrations. Success requires a balance of analytical thinking, strong project management, and the ability to lead with clarity and urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management- Lead the full lifecycle of IT projects-scoping, planning, execution, and delivery.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and MSPs to achieve project outcomes.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and changes proactively.
- Provide clear communication on project progress, milestones, and results.
- Facilitate sprint planning, "stand-ups", sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain and prioritize a backlog of business and technical enhancements.
- Define and align sprint goals with business priorities to ensure delivery of incremental value.
- Foster a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Business Analysis- Partner with business stakeholders to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities for technology-driven improvement.
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements quickly and clearly.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to capture insights.
- Conduct gap analyses and propose practical process improvements.
- Translate requirements into user stories and technical specifications.
- Validate solutions to ensure they align with business expectations
Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or advanced certification a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management and/or business analysis, ideally in a high-growth or private equity-backed environment.
- ERP project management experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and Visio (experience with reporting/visualization tools preferred).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills-able to influence across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, CSM, or PMI-ACP preferred.
