As an IT Project Manager  you will lead medium to large-scale, cross-functional programs that enable business growth, technology modernization, operational excellence, and enterprise transformation. Your ability to build trusted partnerships, align diverse stakeholders, and drive outcomes will directly influence the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives across the firm.

In this role, you will orchestrate complex project delivery from planning through execution, ensuring strategic objectives are achieved within established scope, budget, quality, and timeline expectations. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, technology teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and external partners to drive alignment, remove obstacles, and enable successful outcomes.

Success in this role requires the ability to communicate clearly across all organizational levels, lead through ambiguity, and influence without direct authority. You will leverage Agile practices, critical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable business value while helping teams adapt, learn, and continuously improve. This is an opportunity to perform challenging, meaningful work while developing leadership capabilities, expanding your strategic influence, and contributing to innovative solutions that shape the future of Schwab.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish project direction, mobilize teams, drive execution, and achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships, influence stakeholders, and earn the trust of sponsors and senior leaders across a matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills used to resolve project challenges, manage risk, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Experience managing project financials, resource planning, delivery milestones, dependencies, and integrated project plans.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and support teams while facilitating conflict resolution and driving accountability for results.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience partnering with Agile delivery teams.

  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to connect project execution to strategic business objectives.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities in highly collaborative environments.
  • Generative AI experience and an understanding of how emerging technologies can enhance project delivery, productivity, and business outcomes.
  • Strong adaptability, learning agility, and ability to lead effectively in dynamic environments.
