Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced
Enterprise Architect to lead the design, evaluation, and implementation of enterprise-scale application and infrastructure solutions. This hybrid position supports a major public sector agency and plays a pivotal role in aligning business requirements with robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
This role requires deep technical expertise, cloud solution design experience, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor across AI/ML solution landscapes.
Responsibilities:- Design and maintain enterprise-level architecture aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructures leveraging cloud best practices.
- Evaluate and redesign existing infrastructure for cloud migration; develop detailed migration strategies including timelines and resource plans.
- Execute and validate cloud migration efforts to ensure system performance and data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical architectures.
- Provide expert guidance on AI/ML/Deep Learning projects using Azure, AWS, and GCP technologies.
- Analyze AI/ML services to develop reusable reference architectures, runbooks, and training content.
- Construct Statements of Work (SOW), scope documents, risk assessments, and project deliverables.
- Follow all standard operating procedures related to cost modeling, approvals, and workflow management.
Minimum Required Qualifications:- 10+ years architecting enterprise application solutions across on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- 10+ years' experience designing solutions on GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- 8+ years in developing cloud-native application architectures.
- 8+ years designing service model solutions: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- 8+ years of experience with AI, ML, and Deep Learning using Azure, AWS, or Google technologies.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:- 8+ years' experience with virtual networks, VPNs, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, encryption, IAM, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficient in API design and management (REST, SOAP).
- Knowledge of microservices, serverless architectures, and cloud-native development patterns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services (e.g., Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI).
- 1+ year holding cloud certifications such as:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
