Position SummaryThe Network & Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading GTI's Infrastructure organization and delivering reliable, scalable, and modern technology services across all facilities. This role oversees enterprise networking, servers, cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, Azure, operational technology, and end-user infrastructure while managing the Infrastructure team responsible for day-to-day operations.
The position serves as the operational owner of GTI's infrastructure environment, leading major infrastructure projects including new facility deployments, network implementations, Microsoft platform initiatives, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise technology upgrades. Working closely with ERP, Digital Transformation & Modernization, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Operations, Engineering, and Facilities, this role provides the technology foundation that enables GTI's Enterprise Information Technology Ecosystem.
Strategic ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Operations- Own day-to-day enterprise infrastructure operations across all GTI locations.
- Provide operational ownership of Windows Server, VMware, Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint management.
- Ensure platform availability, resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence.
Enterprise Networking- Own enterprise LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, routing, switching, firewall operations, internet connectivity, and plant networking.
- Lead network architecture, lifecycle planning, and infrastructure modernization.
Infrastructure Project & Program Management- Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and operational handoff.
- Manage new facility network implementations, office and plant expansions, infrastructure refreshes, Microsoft 365 initiatives, Azure migrations, telecommunications projects, and business system infrastructure deployments.
- Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, risk registers, and executive status reporting.
Operational Technology- Oversee plant technology infrastructure including MDF/IDF rooms, fiber, rack infrastructure, wireless, cameras, badge systems, UPS, and facility technology.
- Partner with Facilities, Manufacturing, and Engineering on expansion projects.
Vendor & Service Management- Manage MSPs, ISPs, infrastructure vendors, and implementation partners.
- Develop infrastructure standards, documentation, lifecycle plans, and operational KPIs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with the Cybersecurity Manager on secure infrastructure standards and remediation.
- Provide infrastructure services supporting ERP, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and business applications.
Leadership Responsibilities- Manage Systems Administrators, Network Engineers, Infrastructure Specialists, and future infrastructure staff.
- Provide leadership for the Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, Active Directory, VMware, Windows Server, storage, and backup platforms through the Infrastructure team.
- Assign priorities, manage workload, conduct performance reviews, mentor staff, and support career development.
- Establish operational standards, governance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support budgeting, capacity planning, technology lifecycle management, and resource planning.
QualificationsRequired- 7-15+ years of enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud, or IT operations leadership.
- Strong Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, Windows Server, networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery experience.
- Experience managing technical teams and large infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing or operational environments.
Preferred- Experience supporting ERP infrastructure and enterprise business systems.
- Operational technology (OT) and plant infrastructure experience.
- PMP or equivalent project management experience.
- Experience leading enterprise modernization initiatives.
$100,000 - $140,000 a year
