Job Summary

Air Systems is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to lead IT operations, while serving as the primary liaison to EMCOR Corporate IT.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and operational leader who not only ensures day-to-day execution, but also sets direction for technology, anticipates business needs, and drives long-term value through IT investments. This individual must be capable of influencing leadership, aligning stakeholders, and translating business strategy into actionable IT plans.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for IT, establishing a clear vision and roadmap that aligns technology with business objectives
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex issues, taking direct ownership through resolution when needed
  • Act as a key advisor to executive leadership, helping shape decisions through insight into technology capabilities, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop and execute a 1-3 year IT roadmap covering infrastructure, systems, security, and digital initiatives aligned with business growth
  • Lead day-to-day IT operations and support, prioritizing requests, resolving issues, and ensuring minimal disruption to the business
  • Manage and optimize infrastructure (network, systems, hardware, cloud) to maintain performance, uptime, and resilience
  • Serve as the primary liaison to EMCOR Corporate IT, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and enterprise standards while supporting local needs
  • Drive IT projects, vendor performance, and technology investments, delivering scalable solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support business performance
