About The Position:

The Director IT - Supply Chain, is accountable for defining and delivering the technology strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes across end-to-end planning and procurement areas. This leader serves as the primary IT partner to Supply Chain Planning and Sourcing Operations functions, to drive process standardization, digital transformation, and governance.

This role blends strategic partnership, project / portfolio management, and program leadership, driving transformation through business process harmonization, data/analytics enablement, and putting in place scalable solutions to enable improved forecast accuracy, supply planning, inventory optimization, improving service levels, supplier performance, cost reduction, and speed-to-market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the senior IT partner to co-create roadmaps aligned with enterprise priorities
  • Translate business strategy into capability-based roadmaps, investment cases, and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish governance for planning and sourcing platforms, including prioritization, funding, benefits tracking, and adoption.
  • Collaborate with SAP Functional and other IT teams to lead enhancements and transformations to bring in improvements.
  • Drive planning master data quality, planning area design, key figure governance, and performance optimization.
  • Lead sourcing technology strategy and delivery for various initiatives including eRFx, auctions, supplier onboarding, supplier collaboration, governance and supplier performance/scorecards and risk insights.
  • Partner with Procurement to standardize processes and ensure compliance with policy, audit, and data retention requirements.
  • Optimize sourcing workflows to improve cycle time, competitiveness, and negotiated savings realization.
  • Drive global process standardization across planning and sourcing domains while enabling local regulatory or market needs.
  • Establish end-to-end process ownership and continuous improvement with a Lean / Six Sigma mindset.
  • Collaborate with Analytics teams to enable planning and sourcing analytics.
  • Lead cross-functional transformation programs, oversee delivery portfolio, coordinate across internal IT delivery teams, external vendors/implementation partners, and business SMEs to deliver outcomes.
  • Ensure stakeholder readiness, process adoption, and measurable improvement outcomes.
  • Partner with PMO/project leadership to ensure resourcing is planned for internal + external execution needs.
  • Provide periodic executive communication of roadmap status, risks, dependencies, decisions required, and value realized.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including enterprise supply chain planning and/or procurement technology.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering and operating in Demand planning, Supply planning and S&OP solutions in an SAP environment.
  • Strong experience with eSourcing / Source-to-Contract platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba Sourcing, Lighthouse, Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, GEP, etc.)
  • Proven leadership of large programs, global deployments, and vendor delivery teams.


Environmental Factors:
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • This role requires Stamford, CT office on-site presence Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere on Fridays.
