Summary

You will serve as an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Asset MGMT/LOG IT Branch (BL71300), of the Mission Support Division in the Operations Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Duties

Help

  • You will consolidate and present information to other team members and to higher-level leadership.
  • You will lead various IT functions supporting enterprise efforts.
  • You will implement organizational policy and guidance on IT systems, either in terms of logical and physical deployment of appropriate software and hardware or through the development of standard work packages (SWPs).
  • You will develop and see through research proposals, with some advisory help from Team Leadership.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 511:Cyber Defense Analyst, proficiency level: Intermediate. Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification Department of Navy policies.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04 (Equivalent to the GS-11/12 level) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading Logistics IT systems development teams to design, maintain, and optimize enterprise logistics software toolsets, ensuring continuity and translating business needs into solutions; 2) Providing strategic direction to research, mature, and integrate innovative technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) into IT portfolios; 3) Executing cybersecurity plans, patching, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, including Cyber Risk Assessments (CRAs) and Cyber Tabletops (CTTs); 4) Implementing IT policies through hardware/software deployment and authoring Standard Work Packages (SWPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Project & Leading autonomous research initiatives, directing team workflows on projects, and delivering tailored technical briefings to senior executive leadership.
