The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in hybrid infrastructure, cloud architecture, capacity planning, disaster recovery, performance engineering, infrastructure architecture, and ITIL-based service management.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead capacity planning and performance engineering across distributed infrastructure, VMware ESX environments, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Monitor enterprise infrastructure using observability, telemetry, and application performance monitoring (APM) tools to identify capacity constraints, performance bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and maintain enterprise capacity strategies supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Ensure infrastructure capacity aligns with business continuity, resiliency, and disaster recovery (DR) requirements, including active-active and active-passive architectures.
• Validate infrastructure readiness for disaster recovery testing, failover scenarios, and regulatory resiliency requirements, including RTO and RPO objectives.
• Influence platform architecture and infrastructure design to improve scalability, high availability, performance, and resiliency.
• Develop multi-year capacity forecasts based on business growth, technology modernization initiatives, and regulatory requirements.
• Build predictive models for compute, storage, network, virtualization, and container resource utilization.
• Translate business demand into infrastructure capacity requirements and strategic investment recommendations.
• Lead hardware reclamation initiatives by identifying underutilized, end-of-life, or decommissioned infrastructure assets.
• Partner with infrastructure and data center operations teams to optimize asset lifecycle management, hardware reuse, retirement, and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain accurate enterprise capacity inventories and ensure hardware reclamation activities align with governance and risk management standards.
• Identify infrastructure capacity risks, systemic performance issues, and operational constraints while driving remediation efforts with engineering and operations teams.
• Support incident and problem management by performing technical analysis of capacity and performance-related issues.
• Own ITIL-aligned Capacity and Performance Management processes for the assigned technology portfolio.
• Prepare executive-level dashboards, capacity reports, health assessments, and risk summaries for senior technology leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, operational risk, and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Finance, Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Technology Operations teams on capacity optimization, cloud strategy, lifecycle planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams while influencing architecture, resiliency, and cloud strategy decisions.
• Work within Agile delivery environments and provide leadership across Agile teams.

• Experience with VMware ESX, virtualized infrastructure, and distributed computing environments.
• Strong understanding of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery (DR), and enterprise resiliency strategies.
• Experience designing scalable, highly available, and resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Experience developing long-term infrastructure capacity forecasts and predictive resource utilization models.
• Knowledge of hardware lifecycle management, asset reclamation, and infrastructure optimization practices.
• Experience with enterprise observability, telemetry, and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
• Strong understanding of ITIL service management principles and Capacity Management processes.
• Experience supporting Linux, Windows, cloud-native, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
