Full Job Description
Allianz Technology of America, Inc. seeks an IT Capability Architect Specialist to provide financial business domain guidance with emphasis on Annuity products in ALIP related projects. Establish and advocate for target Capability Maturity Models, including technical, staff and financial business process changes. Define, establish, document, implement, and maintain administration system architecture policies, standards, methods, and procedures. Participate in annual Budget Cycle by filtering and prioritizing technology projects for ALIP Capability. Conduct technology surveys to evaluate changes in the insurance admin system marketplace. Analyze capability portfolio to identify weaknesses and work with Enterprise Architecture to develop opportunities for improvement such as expanding capacity, reducing complexity, time, and cost, and increasing effectiveness. Work with Solution Engineers within the Capability to implement complex financial calculations on the ALIP admin system. Participate in defining, evaluating, and testing of Enterprise Architecture patterns and define the Capability standards and patterns. #LI-DNI

Position requires 10 years of experience working with insurance or financial domain companies using ALIP or other insurance administration systems. Experience must include a minimum of: 10 years of general supervisory experience, including maturing the capability, mentoring and coaching team members; 5 years of experience with database development integrations between Administrative tools and established data mapping databases; 5 years of experience with Enterprise Architecture prioritizations and implementation of new architectures; 5 years of experience with Agile Methodology in delivering continuous development and maintaining a 3-5 year roadmap and support completing appropriate integration SDLC deliverables; 5 years of experience with Java, SQL, Cloud, AI, DevOps, Azure; experience establishing and advocating for target Capability Maturity Models, including technical, staff and financial business process changes; and experience maintaining shared models, diagrams and documentation to effectively articulate multiple views of the capabilities technical architecture and ensures compliance with EA recommendations, patterns and standards.
