The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams. This role is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating stakeholder meetings, supporting Agile development processes, and coordinating user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, documentation, and project coordination skills.

Office Expectations/Hours: Hybrid position; general work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day between 8am to 5pm with overtime, as needed.
What You Will Do- Facilitate meetings and discovery sessions with business stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives.
- Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Clarify requirements and provide ongoing support to developers.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Help maintain sprint backlogs and monitor sprint progress.
- Coordinate testing activities with business users and project stakeholders.
What You Need to Get Here- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role.
- Experience eliciting and documenting business and system requirements.
- Experience supporting software development projects using Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
