Clinical Supervisor Pay Range: $85,000 to $95,000
Location: Bloomington, MN
Schedule: Monday through Friday, primarily weekdays
The
Clinical Supervisorsupports the staff, clients, and operations of Portland Place in collaboration with the Program Director and Program Supervisor along with the Nursing Manager and Nutrition Services Supervisor.
Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Serves as a member of the leadership team at Portland Place and at Touchstone Mental Health
- Serves as the Treament Director as described in 245i licensing requirements
- Supervises a team of Mental Health Counselors, Clinical Trainees, Certified Peer Specialists, Apprentices, and Interns, who work weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Provides regular supervision, recognition, guidance, and direction to staff
- Interviews, hires, and trains new employees and completes performance reviews for all employees
- Addresses staff issues in coordination with the Program Director and human resources
- Partners with the Director of Admissions in interviewing, selecting, and welcoming new clients
- Completes functional asssments with new clients
- Provides leadership, direction, and support to all program staff when clients are in crisis
- Communicates with stakeholders including mobile crisis teams, law enforcement officials, county staff, and other commuity members
- Lead Clinical Consult on a weekly basis and provides clinical supervision as needed
- Ensures staff are meeting expectations related to program policies and procedures along with licensing requirements
- Ensures staff establish supportive and motivational relationships with clients
- Ensures staff provide individual rehabilitation services and document services provided
- Ensures staff faciliate a variety of strengths-based groups that support client recovery
- Ensure staff complete the admission processes, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge processes
- Ensures staff administer medications following program guidelines
- Ensures staff complete daily summaries, attend crossover meetings, and clinical consults
- Attend program leadership meetings and agency leadership meetings
- Serve on focus groups, committees, and/or one-time projects that support the program and agency operations
- Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with residents and staff
Program Supervisor Requirements:
- Must be a Licensed Mental Health Professional in the state of Minnesota
- Experience supervising staff required
- Experience supporting clients with mental illness required; experience supporting clients with co-occuring disorders preferred
- Experience working in a residential setting required; experience working in an IRTS setting preferred
- Experience working with 245i licensing requirements strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to perform the duties completed by supervisees
- Must be available to support staff working a variety of shifts and to provide coverage as needed
